A bunch of quality for $15

Everyone loves a good bargain! Especially when it comes to make up right?

I know i do and today i set myself on a little quest to see if i could find some make up products super duper cheap. Boy and did i !

Firstly, I headed to Kmart. Their make up products have never let me down and they are surprisingly good quality for what you pay. My favourite product in Kmart when it comes to make up would have to be their lashes. Now today i defiantly picked myself up some lashes! I know most people either go for the more expensive lashes from Napoleon, Mac or Priceline but i have found that Kmarts lashes are actually really good and they are only $6! They give the thickness you need as well as adding some length to your look. They have a clear band which makes them appear very natural looking and they are super light so you don't feel as though you are wearing them.

My favourite make up brand that Kmart stocks would have to be OXX which has lots of great eye shadows all for $2, lip pencils for $2 and nail polishes and blushes for $3-$5. Today I also got myself some Elf blush in a terracotta colour (which i loved when i tried it) for $5 and some eyeshadows in a quad pack with copper colours and a nice deep green for just $2.

Then i went to Target or 'Targe' for us posh people. Now Target stock a brand called Essence and it is the cheapest make up i have ever come across, we are talking eye shadows for $3.25 each and foundations for $6 - $8. Now i know what you're all thinking, make up that cheap can't be good? well in-fact it is, the eye shadow colours that essence stock are super pigmented and they go on perfectly. Not to mention the colour variety they offer is amazing. Their lip sticks and glosses are also great, i love NYX for lip products and Essence offer quite a few similar products and colours at a heaps cheaper price! Their eye brow powders and blushes are worth having a go at as well. I have a few products in my make up collection from essence and i love and use them all daily. Now today i picked myself up a shimmery gold Essence eye shadow and a shimmery Teal eyeshadow along with the matching teal eye liner all for $5! Bargain, and i'm so happy with them all.

Also, for future reference Essence also stock nail polishes - they have such a great range of colours and the brush they use in their polishes is a wide flat brush that makes the polish go on in one stroke! It has flawless application.

Full list of make up used for my budget make up look:

The look in the photo above cost me $15 (keep in mind i did rummage through bargain bins) How ever, all of these products are still extremely cheap full price.

Top left: Elf Blush
Teal/ Blue Eyeshadow: Essence 79 in Lola Petrola
Bronze Brown eyeshadow: Essence 02 in Coffee to glow
OXX Mascara: In brown
Bottom Left: Essence Bronzer
Quad Eyeshadow: Essence 'Quattro' 05 in to die for

Foundation Used: Is not in this photo but was my Napoleon Perdis Stroke of Genius

I see it in the way that if i stick with aiming to find 'cheap goodies' and then you'll have more money for the more expensive things you like such as foundations and good brushes!

Hopefully from this post you have come to the realisation that you can get away with cheap make up such as eye shadows, blushes, eyeliners and lashes and no-one will ever know! Promise ;)
